Electronics Projects abstract

An Automatic vehicle location indication system used to identify the vehicles present location from anywhere, using GSM Communication. The user can know the bus routes and bus locations everything using the mobile phone.


The user with his mobile can simply send a SMS Message to the unit fitted into the vehicle.  Then the unit responds with the appropriate results. The unit consists of a GPS Receiver to knew its present location using satellites.  It also has a GSM Modem to receive and send the details required by the user as SMS Messages. Apart from this it also has a vibration sensor. A vibration sensor is utilized to detect the accident has occurred in a particular location.

Hardware Requirements

  1. dsPIC 30F4013  Embedded controller
  2. GPS SR-92 Module with rs232 interface
  3. GSM Modem
  4. Vibration Sensor
  5. Power supply
  6. LCD Display 16X2 Lines

Software Requirements

  2. MPLAB C30 C Compiler
