ABSTRACT

Now a day, fuel prices are increasing which causes economic problems and environmental impact. Thus we are in need to concentrate on clean renewable sources which is easily available, less cost and efficient.“The energy in sunlight striking the Earth for 40 minutes is the equivalent of one year global energy consumption.” Through this presentation topics, We proposed an innovative automobile body design that utilize the solar and wind power using Stirling engines to produce continuous charging of a battery which in turn drive the automobiles

Today’s solar car Models

Today’s solar cars has the following Disadvantages:-

  1. Difficult in Manufacturing
  2. Requires Heavy Initial Cost
  3. Not Good For All Climatic Conditions
  4. Solar to Electric Efficiency is Less

PROJECT FORMULATION

As we know that all the cars are having rear glasses which are constantly appearing to sunlight at day time,so our idea is to use a page magnifying flat lens instead of rear glass which accumulates sun rays at a point from which using Stirling engine the electrical energy is extracted at higher efficiency at about 35% and As well as the relative wind velocity on the surface of car is higher during running condition a wind blade which is hybridized with the Stirling engine in order to run the engine continuously.

APPLICATIONS & ADVANTAGES

  1. Automatic Recharging of Battery at Different Climatic Conditions so Huge time Saving
  2. Minimum Alteration in external body
  3. Extended Period of Driving
  4. As the solar electric Efficiency of solar Stirling Engine is high thus small area covers large power storage
  5. Can be Implemented with less cost
  6. Reduced Battery Size than ordinary electric Vehicle
  7. Can be Easily Hybridized with Other sources of Drive

CONCLUSION

  1. I trust that this car design will lead the future Green and Eco friendly
  2. The efficiency , reliability and compactness are the salient features of this design
  3. The Prototype model of the hybrid design was successfully implemented and demonstrated.
  4. This design doesn’t effect any other performance of the automobile
  5. It is trusted to be highly attractive and more economic.
